This Privacy Policy explains what information Replay ([Company legal name], "we", "us") collects when you use the digital scrapbook service at replay.sapiendesigns.site (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

Account data — your email address and a password (stored only as a cryptographic hash; we never see or store your actual password), plus optional profile details such as your name and age.
Your content — the photos, videos, audio and text you upload to your scrapbooks, and the books you assemble from them.
Payment data — payments are handled by our payment provider (e.g. Stripe); we receive confirmation of the payment and the plan purchased, but never your card number.
Usage data — basic service events tied to your account: sign-up date, days you were active, books created or deleted, and downloads. We use these to run the Service and understand how it is used.
Support messages — what you send us through the contact form.

2. How We Use Information

To provide the Service: store your content, render and share your books.
To sign you in and send account emails (verification codes, password reset).
To process purchases and manage subscriptions.
To maintain security, prevent abuse, and enforce storage limits.
To improve the Service using aggregated usage statistics.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not show third-party ads.

3. Where Your Data Lives

Account data is stored on our servers; uploaded media is stored with Cloudflare R2 in data centers located in the United States. Emails are delivered through our email provider. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

4. Sharing of Your Books

A book is visible to others only if you create a share link and give it to them. Anyone with an active link can view that book. You can disable or regenerate a link at any time; old links stop working immediately.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in, and the browser's local storage for interface preferences. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Your content stays in your account until you delete it or the account.
When you delete your account, your books and uploaded files are permanently deleted from our systems.
We retain a minimal administrative record of the closed account (such as the email address, plan, and dates of registration and deletion) for security, accounting and abuse-prevention purposes.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live (including under the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information. You can do most of this directly: edit your profile on the account page, download your books, or delete your account entirely. For anything else, contact us and we will respond within the time required by law. We do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

8. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Children under 13 cannot create their own account — a parent or legal guardian should create the account and can build the scrapbook together with the child; shared books can be viewed via a link without any account. Family scrapbooks often contain photos of children uploaded by their parents or relatives — the adult uploading the content is responsible for having the right to share it. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We protect your data with industry-standard measures: encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access-controlled storage, and downloadable book files protected with encryption. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we design for it from the start.

10. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this Policy, we will notify you by email or an in-service notice before they take effect.
